So I’ve been away for some time now, partially because I got my hands slapped at work about not doing this on a "company" computer… And because I’m supposedly too biased about something that has happened to a sibling. I think we all know who I’m talking about.
 

Ok first of all lets catch you up on what’s been going on in this guys life, I’m still single… so all of you beautiful/intelligent women who read the blog hit me up in the comments section and we’ll see if we’re compatible. That means you; Marissa Miller and Megan Fox.

Work has been good but we’ve been currently cut down to 40 hours a week so I have far too much time on my hands and really don’t know what to do with myself in the great town of Williston. It’s been a beautiful year here in Western ND. Just ask Big Jim… he has one of his largest hay crops since he’s been at the ole ranchero.
 

Ok… so shat has been going down in the world… and some of it has really gotten under my skin. Our president is in need of just a BASIC econ 101 course to understand what he’s doing to our economy. Ever heard of hyperinflation? Yeah it’s probably coming our way. Now he’s going to indoctrinate all of our public school children on Sept. 9th? Quick enroll your children in a private school!

I’ll have more in the coming days but there is one more thing I must comment on. The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation had a terrible accident happen last week. It is newsworthy. But tell me in the comments if you think the story is fairly done… most of you who read this blog already know my feelings on this, so I won’t comment further, but I’d like yours.

Ragged Old Flag

"You see, we got a little hole in that flag there when
Washington took it across the Delaware.

With Packingham and Jackson tuggin’ at its seems.

"And it almost fell at the Alamo
Beside the Texas flag, but she waved on though.

And the south wind blew hard on that Ragged Old Flag.

I love this photo… it’s been out there for a few days… there’s just something about it that I’m like… wow… Nancy… you love this guy and would kill anyone or anything for him… like an economy maybe or a couple million jobs?

Maybe I’m just green with envy… I haven’t had a women look that interested in something I was saying… well ever… but thats only because Megan and I have never been face to face… her car broke down on the way or something… she’ll be here soon… then we can start out life together and she can pretend to be interested in what I’m saying from time to time! Damn transformer is always breaking down on her!

p.s. those of you that will be attending the celebration of the life that was Micheal Grant this weekend (before he goes and throws it all away June 20th), I hope you are all ready to have an epic weekend… Monke might die… he’s not used to fun… in fact he’s about as anti-fun as they come… but in spite of him… we’ll have a great time!

I don’t see anything in that about judges making policy decisions… but if you can’t win in the court of public opinion i.e. Prop 8 in California, take it to activist judges and they will stomp on the rights of the majority…

Sounds like in many ways Mr. Obama has found a nominee that will show "empathy" while she judges… like Obama thinks should be done, instead of making decisions based on legal principles. Good, so maybe she’ll show empathy for the unborn if Roe vs. Wade comes to the court again… hahahahahahaha… thats right, in Roe vs. Wade situations its only "empathy" for the woman’s choice and body that matters… afterall as the President said "I wouldn’t want my daugthers to be punished with a child"

I’ll be looking forward to Republicans being called racists and bigots if they fight this nomination because she is hispanic… you know its going to happen people… just be ready!

I could go and find 15 things in 150 days Obama has been in office that have made people less safe then when Bush was in office… swine flu… record national debt… etc. etc. etc. But I won’t because I have a job and don’t have time to do something so ridiculous…I have to point out one quote from the article and refute the affects he is implying it had…

"During George W. Bush’s Presidency, the United States impeded global cooperation to lower carbon emissions levels, thereby heightening a general fear over the destructive potential of global warming. "

I actually saw a new report the other day that stated the nation’s green energy grew over 400% while Bush was in office… the Author does not state this fact of course it would contradict his agenda. So the question is begging to be asked… how does increasing green energy over 400% hurt the environment?

The point I want to make is this, when are liberals going to let go of a past in which they think a "Hitler" like man was President and try and fix some of these saftey problems safety we apparently have"? Wait a minute… almost every single national security step the Bush Administration took that is documented in this article/column/propaganda is being continued or kept in the contingency plan by our new President (this includes wiretapping and enhanced interrogation).

Please I know somw of you well informed readers can help be punch some holes in this Huffington Post writer’s article… so please do… I’d love to hear from all of you!

So as I’m cruising the "Huffington Post" today I came across a link that led me to this… Thats right… I get some of my news from the Huffington Post… see Puff in your eyes I probably do have some sense…

But I will start a shit storm (especially in North Dakota) with what I’m about to say… ETHANOL SUCKS… it is on the same level with global warming for things we have been lied to about when it comes to saving our country and our world from evil oil and pollution.

Now in the interest of full disclosure I do work in the energy industry and am directly affected by ethanol, but this is just another perfect example of the american people being sold a bill of goods by the government… that’s not all that great!

I grew up on a farm/ranch and I have seen over the last 5-10 years what ethanol has meant for the people of North Dakota and some of the smaller communities in the area… but ethanol has never been an industry that was self-sustaining… it actually pollutes more then gas burning cars and its always gotten government subsidies and has caused food prices to SKYROCKET! 

If only I could come up with a "green" product that SUCKED and get government funding … I could retire tomorrow!!! How about we come up with a VIABLE alternative to oil and gas before we completely get rid of it or stop producing it like some people would like. And the first thing we need to do, get government out of the decision making… the solution will be found a lot faster… I wouldn’t be surprised if some car companies already have the solution… but all senators like getting sucked up to by lobbyists so they will fight the change a little longer…

You liberals that love all of your causes like a "greener tomorrow" and "the starving in Africa" well Ethanol isn’t greener and it’s caused commodity prices to go up across the board… so those people starving in Africa can afford it even less then they could before… Great policy decision… you just hurt two of your biggest causes!

Oh and in Bush’s eight years in office… green energy use went up over 400% had to add that one for Puff!
